Westerly Hospital Foundation

The Westerly Hospital Foundation’s sole mission is to develop philanthropic support for Westerly Hospital. Established in 1999 and a subsidiary of the Hospital, the Foundation achieves this goal with the guidance of its board of directors (who are appointed by the Hospital’s board) through a suite of activities that includes The Annual Fund, Special & Major Gifts, Planned Gifts and Special Events.

Annual donors at the $500 and $1,000 or more level are recognized, respectively, as members of the Foundation’s Founders Society and Chairman’s Circle, while those who pledge to include the Foundation and/or the Hospital in their estate plan become members of the Foundation’s Cornerstone Society.

Philanthropy is vital to Westerly Hospital’s charitable mission. And the capital resources provided by our generous patrons enable the Hospital to carry out this directive, and serve Westerly, Stonington and surrounding area residents with the best medical care possible.
