Our volunteers are essential to The Westerly Hospital and work in many areas including the Courier Service, Gift Shop, Radiology Department, Ambulatory Care Unit, and Emergency Department. Our volunteers offer clerical support, serve as receptionists at our information desks, and even knit lovely baby hats and comfort blankets for our patients.

Click here for our Careers page which lists specific volunteer positions we are actively seeking to fill at The Westerly Hospital.  Click here for the general Volunteer Application form.

Explorers Volunteer Program for High School Students

This program will give high school students the opportunity to gain exposure to not only the health care professions but also the many services that support healthcare.  After successful completion of the program, students will be given community service credit for hours served.

The next session of the Explorers program will start in June.  Space is limited so apply early.
